Vintage Mid Century Selcol Swiss Reuge Musical Lipstick Caddy Carousel VGC
A stunning, sort after, very desirable mid century ivory coloured Bakelite lipstick carousel with gold coloured inlay. Made in the UK by Selcol (marked to base), contains prestigious Swiss Reuge musical movement that plays "Tales from the Vienna Woods".
Caddy is in full working order, winds from the base, press and hold the front button for a few seconds and the caddy opens to reveal 6 holders for lipsticks. The ballerina in the middle dances and spins, she is also fully working. Rare to find piece in such good condition. There are no major issues with this beautiful piece, no large chips / cracks or mechanical issues. There is however some age related discolouration to the base as shown. Lovely piece, looks very striking and beautiful quality. Standing piece is approximately 18cm tall x 15.5cm wide (base).
